Agreed. Early adopting a new type of product is seldom a good idea unless you're the type that just has to be the first kid on the block with the new gadget.

You end up paying the highest price to feature ratio that this new device will ever have. I mean if the first gen device does everything someone needs, then by all means snap one up at launch. But for most it's better to wait until there are more options, kinks are worked out, prices come down etc.
