Back OT, so far, my (limited as yet, I'm afraid) experience of places to purchase ebooks from the UK (without having to dissemble) is:
Baen (the webscriptions site) - no problem buying via PayPal
Waterstones
WHSmith ebooks

I've had free stuff from smashwords and fictionwise. Am I going to struggle to purchase content from fictionwise even via micropay? Presumably smashwords is OK.

What other sites can one buy from the UK (or globally), without any messing about? Is there another thread/part of the wiki that lists these?
