@shadowauthor, maybe your hopes (i'm assuming from reading months and months of rumors) were set too high? maybe come in with no expectations, look at the ipad for what it is, and decide if it fits your needs or not. but expecting everything that you personally must have in a device is a bit much, unless you have job's number and can call him direct.
