I'll definitely own an iPad myself, but not at $500+ for what it currently does (according to the keynote last month). As a full-time student pursuing an MA and working nights, I can't justify a product that expensive that doesn't do what I need it to, especially when I already own an iPhone 3G and a 1st gen iPhone.

That and I guess my backside is still smarting a little bit from purchasing an Apple TV.
