I avoid crowds as much as possible. It makes me extremely uncomfortable. Like desertgrandma, I like my space (need lots of elbow room unless you get an invitation otherwise, or you happen to be a cute little doggie or other sweet critter).

As much as I like spectator sports and such, I'd never consider going to a game or concert in person, even with free tickets. I want to avoid the accompanying noise as well. Too much ear-splitting noise makes me want to hurt someone (usually the ones making said noise) and I'm a very peaceful person, really.

I've only been to a movie theater 3 times in my life, and even that's too crowded for me. Don't like the way people behave there either.

Don't get me wrong. I like people well enough. I just enjoy them more in small doses.
