It seems that you enjoy fantasy, so I would recommend a series that has become very popular lately: A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. The problem is... it's still unfinished, and it doesn't look like it's going to be finished any time soon. Still, it's a great read: very intense, lots of action, interesting characters... and it's available as ebooks reasonably priced.
