I read in bed with my reader every night. It used to be a Kindle 1, then a Kindle 2, then a Sony Touch Edition and it's now my Sony Daily Edition. I have fallen asleep and rolled on top of each of the readers. I have dropped each of the readers off the bed onto the hard tile floor. And on the nights I have actually placed the readers on the nightstand, several times my cats have knocked them off onto the floor. They all survived without a single problem.
