An author on board

Hello, I've already been here a while now, getting plenty of help from the gang here. I'm most grateful.

I write contemporary drama comedy fiction. I'm a failed science-fiction writer. I'm just not very good at it. I've published erotic fiction which is some sort of talent I have... but it's not my first choice of genre. My next book will be a non-erotic story about bodily functions.

I'm the very happy owner of a PRS-600. I couldn't gush enough. Apart from reading e-books, I use it to proofread my manuscripts. It's the perfect tool. It has everything I've ever wanted with an e-book. Just perfect.

Buying e-books has been a huge disappointment though. I'm going to assume that this is because we're at the start of a revolution and in a couple of years time buying books on-line will be as straight forward as buying theatre tickets on-line. But still... there's no shortage of things to download and read anyway. Project Gutenberg is the best thing ever.
