Hello,

I have just noticed that my LIT version of my eBook doesn't work properly because Windows is too dumb too properly display full UTF-8 characters. What a surprise....

Be that as it may, is there a chance that you could add a character replacement for each eBook format, so that I could for example tell Calibre to replace &x2606; with "*" when building the LIT format, while leaving it untouched when building other formats?
