Agreed. I think dedicated readers should have forums by manufacturer.

Other devices should be sorted by device type--maybe Apple deserves it's own for it's devices.

But other wise I'd say have a forum for Tablets once they start rolling out in greater numbers, one for Smart Phones/PDAs and their reader programs one for all the PC reading programs for use on PCs, Laptops, Netbooks etc.
