In order of preference:

PocketBook 360 because it is very portable, has an excellent battery cycle of over 2 weeks for me and is comfortable to read on.

Kindle 2 looks ugly as sin (but much improved in it's tuff-luv case!) but brilliant for annotating and marking up documents. Love being able to buy books and download straight to the device in an instant.

iPod touch - Stanza is a brilliant little reading app but kindle for iPhone lets me keep ebooks in synch with the Kindle. The device I use for reading in the dark with!

Sony Touch reader - my least favourite by far and the most expensive! Touch screen makes navigation a breeze but it isn't as clear to read from as my other devices and it feels very scratchy using he stylus on the screen. Just doesn't work so well for me.
