I am typing this on a convertible TabletPC I've had since 2003. (I've gotten in the habit of using it in laptop mode rather than tablet mode since Calibre doesn't support the tablet input panel.) This tablet got me through school - I have fond (?) memories of taking notes in calculus, switching colors on the fly, matching up the colors of the labels to the lines or curves in the graph to make it clear to what I was referring to. It was great, and while I had to switch batteries to make it through the day, I had enough CPU.

I'm glad they're making a "comeback." To some of us, they never left. In fact, we're seriously considering a refurbished convertible for my husband this very minute.
