Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but my Kindle1 has a "rest" mode that is supposed to conserve battery life. Since the jbl uses regular AA batteries, I want to make sure we get the longest usage on them possible. But it seems that sometimes you can use more battery turning things off & on than just leaving it on. What does everyone else do?
