Are they connected?
A lot of people have had the Captain James T. Kirk vs Captain Jean-Luc Picard argument.

A lot of people have had the David Lee Roth vs Sammy Hagar argument.


I want to see if there is a connection somewhere between the answers received for both questions.


I would assume that logically if one would choose Captain James T. Kirk then one would also choose David Lee Roth. I base this assumption on the fact that they are both not only the originals but share the same type of wild man flare. Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Sammy hagar are both a bit more stuffy and serious.
