Yep, having them on there and not selling well shows them consumers aren't willing to pay the price they're asking.

Vs. Amazon saying no to it and not letting consumers have vote with their wallets. Which just tells them that Amazon doesn't want to raise book prices, not that consumers are unwilling to pay them.
