I recently helped my sister learn to do this on her iPod Touch. She has a wireless router.

The easiest way (at first) was just opening the book in Stanza Desktop and then downloading it on Stanza for the iPhone.

After she became familiar with this method she realized that Calibre Server is faster.

So if you just want to get some books on your iPhone or iPod, try Stanza Desktop. Once you have become familiar with that, move up to Calibre server.

I did note that I had a better experience with finding the server when I saved the url to calibre server in Stanza as my own site. Trying to locate via bonjour or broadcast protocol was not as reliable.
