I finally went with the PRS600. I found one on craigslist for an excellent price. rmm200 was correct - the spot-lights in-store were a pretty terrible representation of what the screen would look like in a more natural environment (ie, a coffee shop). I'm still playing around with it, and it seems to be a fantastic little gadget so far.
