credit cards

Most credit processors charge the merchants a per transaction fee. When I was researching getting a credit card merchant most of those fee's were .20 to .30 depending on what sort of a contract and company. Then they tack on a percentage of the total purchase, which also depends on what contract that they have can run from 1.5% and higher. I would imagine that fictionwise has a better deal on their credit card processing fee's than what the average small business can get.

Its not unusual for smaller companies to charge a small fee for transactions under $5
