Well, I'm not sure I'm even formatting it correctly. I used the "Format Internal Memory" function in the advanced section of the Reader. However, when I do it, I get one of the triangles after a while and that stays there until I hit the menu button. Then the reader resets. Afterwards, my books are still there but my saved position in the book is not. It will then communicate with Calibre correctly.

I haven't noticed any set procedure that will trigger this. Nine times out of 10 it works fine. I never have a problem using the reader, only a problem trying to sync with Calibre. I don't have the Sony software installed at all. Mind you, I'm not pointing the finger at PRS+, I'm just adding my experience to the list.
