We have forums for netbooks and they are not 'dedicated reader' devices.

I see the iPad as magazine reader first and that to me, that alone, earns it a place in the forums as one of the first to do the task decently. And although the Pad might not be appropriate to some people, it will have iBooks, a place to buy books, just like the Sony Library.

Mobile Read is a site promoting portable reading in whatever format. The iPad is thus a worthy contender... when it comes out that is.

I have a question and it really bothers me: Why the hooliganist reactions? They have a bad taste of racism deja vu to them...
