Huh?
We already know, it will have a dedicated book store. We already know Apple has contracts with various publishers.
If the iPad doesn't allow book apps other than iBook, then it will be a proprietory reader no different than Amazon's or B&N's devices.
If it does allow other book apps, then it will be a reader with a broader range of sources.
But either way, it's a reader.
If there are sections for stuff like Ectaco jetBook and Fictionwise eBookwise, it'd be strange not to have a section for a reader which will in all likelihood be considerably more popular than both of these put together.
