OK, I got mine to finally work. First, I had to clean up my Calibre library directory. There were some book folders in the calibre library directory that were no longer listed in my library. Not sure how that happened. It still would not work. Then I added back the default characters in the regex field (from the first post in this thread - '\[[\w ]*\]' ) and the catalog worked fine.
Looks like a great feature!
