They've said they'd support it on on the PRS
line. You're right, they might interpret that as "not the 500." However, all they'd need to do (I think) is release an update to the firmware that supports it, and there you go. That's a lot less involved than releasing an entire follow-on model, unless they have one pretty far along in the works already, and I haven't run across any indication that they're actively working on another model yet.
Hardly conclusive, but there you go.
