Except for the portability, you're also describing my iPod Touch.

An iBooks prefix would make the "sifting" easier. Also, do we know that iBooks won't be available as an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch? The app seems to be patterned after an app that already exists (Classics?), so it's not unreasonable to to believe iBooks will be show up on the iPhone and iPod Touch as well.
