Apple iPhone apps != Apple iPad apps, I think this is the strongest reason to have a separate forum. Not to mention the target audience differing. It seems to be worth separating the discussions.

And before you say "Nuh uh!" about the apps, the iPad has compatibility modes for iPhone apps, and a developer can ship a single app that targets both in "Universal" mode which is a fancy way of putting two different programs in one file, but they're still different apps, and will have different concerns/features/behaviors/etc. in many cases.

It's also unclear so far if Apple's iBooks will even make it to the iPhone. I would be sad if it didn't, but still, it's just another reason.
