Minor rant - I do wish more people would code sites to work on all browsers, then I wouldn't have to use 3 of the sodding things.
And as an aside, have just run up all three browsers to see which uses the least resources - all have the same tabs open:

Firefox runs even better on my iMac than it does on my Hewett-Packard. The browser frequent crashes on the PC, but never on the Mac. Then again, since I don't use the Mac as much, I'm not using any plug-ins with the Firefox. Maybe it
is the plug-ins.
