See, Zelda - I'm not the only person who raves about how good Opera is

Minor rant - I do wish more people would code sites to work on all browsers, then I wouldn't have to use 3 of the sodding things.

And as an aside, have just run up all three browsers to see which uses the least resources - all have the same tabs open:
I don't have a Mac OS installed on the iMac anymore (Hated Snow Leopard, actually made the machine slower). I have Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10 installed on the iMac. It's Firefox on both installations that kills the system, makes it too slow to be used. As I have Firefox installed on other machines and in the same operating systems without problems on those other machines, the only logical conclusion is that it is something on the iMac hardware side / and or the drivers installed to run that hardware, which Firefox is clashing with.

I'm not too concerned anymore as I've now switched to Opera on all the systems and couldn't be happier (the only extension I had in Firefox was adblock, but I'm not missing that too much).
