I think, but can't prove, it's an Apple thing as Firefox runs fine on the other two machines I have. and crappy on this crappy iMac hardware. Or maybe an Intel thing, because the other two machines use AMD. I really don't know. And I doubt Microsoft even care that much about Linux or Apple as competition any more, they're more concerned (and rightly so) by Google
If anything, I'd expect Chrome to suck - actually, it does suck compared to Opera. Man, what a revelation Opera has been. Fast, stable, good looking, has a lot of neat features built right in and completely standards compliant.
