Speaking as a software developer I would bet it will not take long at all to up resolution within your eReader app if you do not change core functionality. Of course some folks will have coded their app wrong and for those folks it will take a while.

Some on this forum are IMPLYING that Apple will be sneaky and won't get back to the app developer with the 'rejection slip' in a timely manner - at least that is how I read their posts.

So to answer the question about timeline - sixty days. It is an unavoidable sixty days because in sixty days you as an eBook App Developer will know that your company is part of the iPad launch, or you are not part of the launch. You will not even have to hear from Apple to know whether your app is there for the first customers, all you will have to do is purchase an iPad for yourself and check the iPad section of the App Store.

If you want to know when an App Developer will be ready then read the link I provided. Kobo thinks they will be ready within the next four weeks. I am going to presume they will submit their App to Apple when it is ready - so submission within the next six weeks?
