you may want to take a look at the DittoBook D9 http://www.dittobook.com/d9.html. It will have wifi, wacom stylus input (for note taking in texts as well as standalone "journals/notepads", support for Office documents and pdfs and it'll be cheaper than the Que and Skiff. The "10 hours" for battery is supposed to be 10 days(with wifi off)

We haven't decided yet if we will carry it but we are leaning towards yes. We'll have a sample in a few weeks and then we'll make the final decision once we get to use it. It'll be 400-450 . It won't be as durable or as thin and light as the Que but it'll be about as well as you can do outside of their tech.
