Well whaddayaknow: Calibre now supports Drag&Drop.
I can drag the ePubs from my downloads folder right into the library of Calibre. Awesome, Kovid!
Now, there's just
one more thing 
: could you make it so that I can drag an epub onto the Calibre DOCK ICON too?
