Yes, you are right. Well, 300/month is
average salary. Some people earn more, about $500/month. And yes, they are ready to pay $230 or more to buy the reader (from abroad). Or they will have to pay $400 (in Belarus).
By the way, few years ago I considered moving to Australia or New Zealand

No, they just asking me to help and find cheaper reader. All costs are on them

I'm just helping them to find the reader, to send money to sellers and get the parcel from post office. I have some kind of "reputation" here, so it's easier for me to make a deal with sellers. People just know that I don't cheat

and was even ripped off by another forum member...

Never did this, and probably will never do, because in this case I will have to pay income tax (30% of the total price). Used reader are cheaper, and I could ask the seller to point "right" price to avoid income taxes.
