It has just occurred to me that I no longer need to follow this thread. If I were inclined to locate information on the iPad being too restrictive towards eBooks all I need to do is follow

I am pretty sure Kobo would complain, and let the public know via their Blog, if they are informed they won't be participating at iPad launch.
In any case they sure seem enthusiastic!
