Many Epaper fans don't want to stare at a backlit screen for hours, and count me as one of those. The iPad is quite literally unable by design to replace a epaper or non-backlit transflexive LCD screen for me - and just as you're not alone, nor am I.
Given the early state of epaper in the market, I'm quite willing to bet the vast majority of ereader owners feel like me, however.
