Any way, though it does not support my mother tongue, it is a very nice ereader and I am hoping for the function of high-lighting in pdf and taking notes.....it is a waste of this wacom now.
No need to power off. I only did reset myself, to make the changes in the ini-file permanent.
After rebooting, there actually are additional informations in the ini-file, obviously added by the reader while booting. But your added line remains intact.

To be more precise:
I've backed up the original files before to PC.
I changed the ini-file on PC.
I copied that file to the reader.
I reboot the reader.
SD support was added.
