Are you an iRex employee and is this an official statement?
I've just received a response mail from iRex's support, stating differently. (see a few posts above). And the manual states differently as well. But on the other hand, you seem to be right. I can't turn it off (anymore). I guess I've mistaken accidental resets for starting from off before.
