Nope. I got my 900 for reading, sure I could get the iPad for reading and replace it but that is about all I'd use it for. If it were more of a computer, then maybe I'd consider replacing my laptop. Right now though the iPad is more a sleek, shiny, cool looking portable entertainment device. I am tempted to get one just for the geek factor, but in all honesty the kids would get more use out of it than I would, and even for them it would pretty quickly lose its appeal.
I went through the same thing once when my wife told me if I really wanted an iPod touch I should get, we were in Best Buy at the time too. I'm so proud of myself, I talked myself out of it. Just like I'm doing with iPad now.
