Resetting after changing the dr.ini is okay as well.
Concerning turning off/going into standby:
Are you sure it's going into standby? You don't see any visual difference between standby or turning off. The only difference: Restarting from standby takes about 3 seconds, from having turned off about 50 seconds.
The tricky part for me is turning it on again. Sometimes I accidentally do a reset instead of just turning on.
2 guys can't turn off, 1 can't always turn on --> They should optimise this.
You can "train", turning off.
When holding the switch, after about 5 seconds the activity light (green) goes on. Anything
BEFORE that signal will turn it off. Works flawlessly for me now, after 2 or 3 accidental resets I've got the feel for it now.
After having checked again (after you and Dereader have been asking), quite frankly I'm not sure anymore about turning off.
Instead of turning off/on, I might just have gotten into standby and then accidentally have done a reset, which did occur like turning on (of course the very same 50 seconds for reset or startup).
Because right now when trying again, it always went into standby.
Concerning the lights:
The red light I've only got for low battery.
The blue light I've got maybe 3 times, at least 1 time it was flickering instead of continuous. I'm not sure, but I think it's kind of a "busy" signal as the reader didn't react anymore while flickering.
