That certainly sounds like a reasonable alternative to me.
I probably tend to place the Apple devices together because they would seem to be somewhat...divisive,
and that way any foaming at the mouth over the fruit-grower could be segregated for, as you say, possible inclusion or exclusion (at a forum preference level) by us all.
That's me though...I tend to try avoid conflict, so its partially that bias driving my own preference.
