The one book that was demoed was the Edward Kennedy memoir. The price shown on iBooks was $14.99. The Kindle price is $9.99. If this price disparity holds on best sellers then price conscious consumers will be saying no to the iPad. (I loathe that name, didn't want to even type it.)

It looks like a neat device but I'll interested to see the limitations. Great aesthetics but I don't like the closed eco system. Wonder when we'll see the first jailbroken devic?
