I believe this is false. Amazon takes a larger cut than 30% currently, both from paper and ebooks. While it may be the case that some books will be more expensive at iTunes than at Amazon, because Apple will not enforce a maximum on publishers, there is no reason to believe that all books will be more expensive through iTunes than anywhere else.
