Yes, I read ebooks on the Samsung, but then I did on WinMo too, and PalmOS before that. There is another thread in "Other Devices" that lists all the Android reader apps, but I am partial to FBReader. Even though I have to strip the DRM and convert the files with Calibre. Since I do that anyway in order to be compatible with my various dedicated readers, it’s no big deal.

I think the biggest thing I like is no stylus, and in order to make things big enough for finger input, everything is necessarily much larger. For my ancient, diabetes afflicted eyeballs, that’s important!

My wife still has a WinMo 6.1 phone (HTC Mogul), and whenever I have to help her do things, I find myself squinting to read the screen, and poking through the less than intuitive interface to figure it out. With Android (and WebOS), I am naturally led to the required screens. Usually just by touching the large in your face menu button.
