Kindle dumps Telnet connection after a minute.

I wrote a simple program that allows me to graphically Telnet into the Kindle's hidden partitions and Drag & Drop files where I want to.

My only problem is that the Kindle RE-SETS the telnet connection after a few minutes.

Anyone have the same issue - and solved it?

This happens even if I use plain-ol'e telnet.
I can change the partition to read/write.
I start looking at some files and ... bang! telnet connection is closed.

I must admit I rarely use telnet, so what-up?

Anyone else getting booted off their Kindle DX? (ROM 2.3).
usbNetwork is still working on the Kindle, I just need to reestablish the telnet session.

Right now it's like a race:
- telnet into the Kindle,
- make the partition read/write,
- change to the directory I want,
- grab the file I need,
-- All before the connection is closed.

If all goes well I can edit the file I grabbed on the 'puter. Then re-do the process to save the file back to the Kindle BEFORE the connection is lost. But I can't edit the file directly on the Kindle as the connection closes so fast that even simple edits are lost.
