I haven't found any speaker.
But actually, the clicking sound usually is the first thing I turn off. Did so with iRex iLiad.
But I agree: Given the screen refresh, a Windows-like animation doesn't make any sense. So an (optional) Audio-feedback would make most sense.
I guess, it's a minor problem, as the screen is very fast and responsive. Before you'd get the feedback, you probably already see the result of your action.
