Mine tooks 7 hours which is a new definition of "not that long" . I did have about 8500 books in the library with about 4 formats for each book. The resulting ePub catalog was 33.2Mb in size. Memory usage peaked at about 1GB when generating it.

Having said that it was still worth it, and knowing the job will take this long I can just leave it running overnight.
