Fine, I downloaded the source of the plugin and replaced

VENDOR_ID = [0x0525]
PRODUCT_ID = [0xa4a5]
BCD = [0x323]

with

VENDOR_ID = [0x0525]
PRODUCT_ID = [0xa4a5]
BCD = [0x326]

and now the N516 with OI is detected.
