I'm afraid it may have been coyotes. I don't think it could have been "big" cats which have been sited around here, the horses would have gone nuts, the coyotes don't bother them though.
I'm familiar with cats dissappearing for days at a time, but she's never done it, she;s a neutered female. certainly some kind of violence happened, I just don't know what. the best I can hope for is she is laying low licking her wounds. the pup just checked in again with me... nothing.
I'm just gonna go cry for awhile
