Just got home from the Julie Hyzy signing. The fog was supposed to lift around noon, instead of doing what it did, which was just get thicker all day! In spite of that, however, I had an absolute blast! Julie recognized me instantly from my picture on Facebook, and we hugged each other and did the whole female squeal thing. She had her husband and one of her daughters with her. Chris and Julie's husband got into a nice conversation while me and Julie babbled at each other. We ended up staying most of the two hours that the signing was scheduled, and I came home with yet another autographed book of hers
. We're planning on getting together again sometime - probably when she does the launch for the Manor Of Murder series this summer. Julie is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever met!
