all i know is i had a LOT of trouble reading my prs600 indoors, until i put the 3m film on. it's not a strain on my eyes to read anymore.
Ok i should clarify something though: the contrast on the screen is still unchanged. the contrast of the sony touch screen readers are still not as good as other readers. for example, i bought the alurtek reader at costco and tried it out before i bought the sony touch reader. although the alurtek contrast was MUCH better, it was so SLOW with pdfs and file transfers were ridiculous so i returned it after i bought the sony reader. the sony reader is fast, easy to use, and the battery life is long. but again, contrast (even WITH the 3m film) on the sony touch reader is not as good as the other reader i tried (by alurtek).
