ADE transfers the book to the Digital Editions folder by default - nook firmware version 1.0.0 and 1.1.1 reads this folder, but versions 1.1.0 does not.
The work around is to move the book to your nook through Adobe Digital Editions. Then open the nook on your PC (it appears as an external drive), and then drag and drop the book from the Digital Editions folder to My Documents.
Then make sure you safely eject the nook from the PC.
Your book should show up and be readable when you check for new content on My Documents.
